Galerie Zadra is an Australian specialist dealer and advisory service with a base in Luxembourg. We assist public and private collectors internationally to acquire contemporary US, European, and Australian Aboriginal fine art of outstanding provenance.
We have had art works acquired by the British Museum, National Gallery of Australia, National Museum of Australia, Australian War Memorial, Parliament House of Australia, National Gallery of Victoria, Art Gallery of South Australia, Queensland Art Gallery & Gallery of Modern Art, Art Gallery of Western Australia, Artbank, as well as Australian and American university museums.
In addition, art works that have been acquired from us have been gifted to national and international museums and collections.
Galerie Zadra works with emerging and established artists whose practice contributes to our understanding of the human condition. The majority of works are paintings, drawings and prints.
Director, Karen Zadra, is a specialist in Aboriginal art and culture with over 35 years' experience, and she's an Approved Valuer under the Australian Government's Cultural Gifts Program.
Acquisitions and advice, private sales, appraisals and valuations, collections management.
Galerie Zadra has grown from Marshall Arts, one of Australia’s most respected commercial Aboriginal fine art galleries, which Karen and Dirk Zadra rebranded in 2015 on expanding internationally. Marshall Arts was founded in 2001 and owned by Rosalyn and the late Graeme Marshall until December 2012; Karen joined the gallery as Manager at the beginning of 2008.
Throughout our history, we have represented many significant artists (particularly from the APY region) and nurtured the talents of emerging artists. Its reputation has been built on industry expertise, ethics and integrity, and strong relationships with the artists’ art centres, public institutions, private collectors and publishers.
